FIRST FLIGHT ~ Shrimp Bisque

2010 Terra Blanca Arch Terrace Riesling, Cherry Hill Vineyard, Yakima Valley
Dry white with inviting aromas of pear and citrus lead to flavors of tart pear, and lemon, with notes of minerality on the palate. This well-balanced Riesling finishes with linger¬ing pineapple flavors. Balanced acidity and a crisp mouthfeel.  The 2010 Arch Terrace Riesling is a great choice with Asian influenced cuisine, grilled sea bass or citrus glazed pan seared pork loin chops.

2009 Terra Blanca Arch Terrace Chardonnay, Terra Blanca Estate Vineyard, Red Mountain
Bright aromas of mango, apple and brioche lead into flavors of Fuji apples, citrus and tropical fruit. A hint of vanilla is the only indication of the small amount of French oak used during the course of aging. Balanced acidity and a crisp mouthfeel make this an excellent food wine for pasta dishes and chicken, fish or turkey.

2006 Terra Blanca Signature Series Merlot, Terra Blanca Estate Vineyard, Red Mountain
Concentrated black cherry with hints of clove entwine on the inviting nose followed by velvety layers of black cherry, plum and other black fruits. Dusty layers of soft tannins, dried cherries, black fruits, nuances of clove and hints of chocolate melt together on the long balanced fin¬ish. The 2006 Terra Blanca Merlot shows the power and depth of Red Mountain into a package of style and grace.

Intense fragrances of violet, black cherry, plum, and ce¬dar surround layers of blackberry, dark cherry, ripe black currant, and chocolate. Hints of anise and spice comple¬ment the black fruit flavors while hints of cedar and chalk integrate with firm tannins. A deep, lingering, tightly fo¬cused finish is filled with nuances of spice and chocolate.
